As earlier stated, The Line 6 Helix truly delivers! I got inspired and re-recorded another track from my 2014 album “Glashus”. This tune has some kind of Surf vibe going and as usual Johan Björklund keeps the beat on the drums and Johannes Lundberg is pumping the bass. The tune is called Vårstenar, a reintepretation of Springsteen in swedish. Somehow the intro reminded me of Born To Run – era Springsteen. Enjoy!
Lately I’ve been really impressed with the new Line 6 Helix Guitar amp modeler. This unit blows my mind. It’s so easy to work with and sounds just amazing and the great thing about this unit is that I’m finally able to use just one rig for both live work and recording work. It’s highly customizable and I can tweak it to fit every musical situation I’m conquering with ease. Just to test how well it would adapt to recording situations I decided to re-record an old tune and replace all guitars with Helix-sounds. Take a listen 🙂
